Senior Living Advisor – Greater San Antonio Area (Full-time employee)

Position Overview

Senior living advisor is responsible for developing, executing, and managing the sales and marketing activity. Position is also responsible for meeting monthly sales and move-in benchmarks.

Location

This position is 100% onsite at a senior living community in the Greater San Antonio area. Some local area travel is required. Successful candidate must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the community is meeting or exceeding leasing expectations and budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Work closely with the executive director on sales in the development and execution of the community’s sales and marketing plan.
  • Meet the sales activity benchmarks, as determined by the Executive Director. These may include daily follow up calls, appointments, on-site and off-site sales activities and other performance metrics
  • Responsible for the community’s social media presence and reputation management; following company guidelines and standards.
  • Responsible for tracking monthly marketing budget expenses to ensure that the community spends within the budgeted limit.
  • Demonstrate excellent sales skills through establishing and maintaining client relationships, discovery of customers’ needs and desires with the community’s products and services, closing and post-sales activities.
  • Perform timely and efficient completion and maintenance of company’s CRM (lead database) for all potential residents and referral contacts activity.
  • Continuously build purposeful and professional referral partnerships through on-site and off-site outreach visits.
  • Analyze market demands and competitor data by completing competitive market analyses.
  • Conduct team training regarding the inquiry process, onsite visits and customer service.
  • Maintain an active and meaningful waitlist of future residents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree and 2+ years related sales and/or marketing experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Ability to work extended and weekend hours on occasion and when necessary to support occupancy goals.
  • Experience with state and federal guidelines for assisted living and dementia.
  • HIPAA requirements.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior living preferred.
  • Enjoyment in working with older adults

Sales Specialist (Independent Contractor) – Senior Living Sales

Grow Your Occupancy is seeking experienced and results-driven Senior Living Sales Specialists to join our expanding team in a fully remote, independent contractor capacity. This role provides the flexibility to work on a variety of sales and marketing projects supporting senior living communities across the U.S. and Canada.

Our Sales Specialists play a key role in driving our clients’ sales growth, executing sales strategies, and supporting senior living communities through remote sales and marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented sales professionals who thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment, being part of a collaborative team, possess excellent communication skills, and are passionate about helping communities succeed.

This is a contract-based role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution & Performance:
    • Conduct remote sales and marketing activities to increase occupancy and lead conversion.
    • Meet or exceed project-specific goals, deadlines, and client expectations.
    • Maintain a results-driven approach, prioritizing client success and measurable outcomes – our clients’ success is our success!
  • Project Management & Communication:
    • Provide timely updates on project progress to internal teams and clients.
    • Proactively identify challenges and communicate solutions to clients and managers.
    • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to improve sales performance.
  • Tracking & Reporting:
    • Accurately track and record all sales activities, interactions, and time worked on projects.
  • Collaboration & Adaptability:
    • Work efficiently in a remote team setting while balancing independent responsibilities.
    • Adapt to different senior living communities, sales strategies, and CRM platforms.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, sales best practices, and emerging technology tools. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Experience & Performance:
    • Minimum 5+ years of senior living sales and marketing experience at the community sales director level or above. 
    • Demonstrated track record of occupancy growth in senior living communities. 
  • Sales & Communication Skills:
    • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented with a strong sales mindset. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with both clients and internal teams. 
    • Outstanding phone sales skills and the ability to build rapport remotely. 
  • Technical & Software Proficiency:
    • Expertise in one or more senior living CRMs, with a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.   
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel. 
    • Comfortable using Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, virtual video conferencing, and other business applications. 
    • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new software and digital tools.
  • Workstyle & Availability:
    • Ability to travel to and work at senior living communities throughout the U.S. and Canada as needed. 
    • Highly independent with the ability to work successfully with minimal supervision. 
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs. 
    • Strong team player who collaborates effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must provide your own business equipment, including a reliable phone and computer (Windows preferred). 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
